About

Built in a real high school, for real hallways.

TardySweep started with one Omaha high school that was tired of counting tardies on paper.

How it started

In 2024, Buena Vista High School in Omaha Public Schools, a school of about 1,600 students, was managing tardies the way most schools do: logging them by hand, tracking patterns in spreadsheets and trying to stay consistent with follow-ups. It took a lot of staff time, and it was still hard to see the full picture.

TardySweep was built with the staff at Buena Vista to fix that. The goal was simple: a system that fits how schools already work, that busy staff can use in seconds, and that a school can afford. In its first year, Buena Vista saw tardies fall 27 percent from one semester to the next.

Where we are now

TardySweep is used by high schools across the Omaha area, including Buena Vista and Omaha South in Omaha Public Schools and Ralston High School in Ralston Public Schools. Every one of them came to us through another school. Schools talk to each other, and that's how we've grown.

The results have held up as schools keep using it. At Ralston High School, tardies in the first quarter of the 2026–27 school year were 34 percent lower than in the first quarter of the year before.

Most of TardySweep's features exist because a school asked for them: searchable student records, SIS integrations, instant feedback for students, Event Rules, printable passes and classroom stations. When we build something for one school, every school gets it.
