Kyser Enterprises, LLC, doing business as TardySweep ("TardySweep," "we" or "us"), respects your privacy. This policy explains how we collect and use personal information when you visit tardysweep.com, contact us, or use TardySweep as a school staff member.
Student data is covered separately
Information about students that schools store in TardySweep is handled under our Student Data Privacy Statement and any data privacy agreement we have signed with the school. Those documents control over this policy for anything involving student data. We never sell student data or use it for advertising.
Information we collect

How we use it
- To provide, support and secure TardySweep and respond to your requests.
- To send service emails such as password resets, reminders and account notices.
- To understand how our website is used and improve it.
- To send information about TardySweep to school staff and people who have contacted us. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link in any email.
How we share it
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share it only:
- With service providers that host our website and app, deliver email, process payments, provide analytics, run our live chat and summarize chat conversations, under contracts that limit their use of it to providing those services to us.
- When required by law, such as a court order. Where student data is involved, we notify the school first unless the law prohibits it.
- In a business transfer, such as a merger, to a successor that agrees to honor this policy and our student data commitments.
Tracking and cookies
We keep track of the pages visitors view on our website so we can understand which content is most useful. If you contact us, we may connect your earlier visits on this browser to the contact information you provide so we can better respond to your inquiry.
When you first visit our site, a notice explains how we use cookies, and you can change your choices at any time using the "Cookie Settings" link at the bottom of every page.
Essential (always on)
- tsw_consent (1 year): remembers your cookie choices.
- Cookies set by our website platform that keep the site secure and working properly.
Analytics (on unless you opt out)
- tsw_vid (2 years): a random identifier set by TardySweep that lets us count visits and see which pages are viewed. It does not contain your name or email address. If you submit a form, we may link this identifier to the information you provide.
- Google Analytics (_ga cookies, up to 2 years): helps us understand how visitors use our site in aggregate. Google may process this data under its own privacy policy.
Live chat
- Tawk.to: provides the chat window on our site and may set its own cookies to keep your chat session working.
Your choices
You can turn off Analytics or Live chat at any time from Cookie Settings. When you opt out of Analytics, we stop tracking your visits in that browser and remove our visitor identifier. We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signals as a request to opt out of Analytics. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, although parts of the site may not work if you block essential cookies.
How long we keep it
We keep website visit data that is not connected to a contact for up to 3 years, after which it is automatically deleted. Information you submit through our forms, along with the visit history connected to it, is kept while we have an ongoing business relationship or until you ask us to delete it. Staff account information is kept while your school's subscription is active and deleted along with the school's data afterward.
How we protect it
Data is encrypted in transit using TLS and at rest using AES-256, access is limited by role-based permissions, and passwords are never stored in readable form. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and will notify affected people as the law requires if a breach occurs.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your personal information by emailing info@tardysweep.com. We will respond within a reasonable time, and within any period required by law. We may keep information when we need it to provide a service you or your school requested, meet legal obligations, or prevent fraud and security incidents. Requests about student records should go to the student's school.
Children
Our website is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. TardySweep receives student information only from schools, as described in our Student Data Privacy Statement.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. For material changes, we will update the effective date and notify account holders by email before the change takes effect.
